Jiayu Wu, Staff Writer
Jiayu Wu, a senior at Cotter, is in her first year of attending school in Winona. Her home is in Shijiazhuang, China where she lives with her parents as an only child. Though she is new to Minnesota, she spent two years attending a school in Roswell, New Mexico. Her dream job is to become a diplomat and has chosen journalism as a way to expand her knowledge on the subject. She hopes to survive the Minnesota winter and become more outgoing throughout the school year. Her future plans include attending Georgetown University and traveling after retirement.
