Ashur Rouleau, Reporter
Ashur Rouleau is a junior at Cotter and a first time journalist. Ashur has chosen journalism because he thinks that he will be able to enjoy writing articles and reports about the wonderful people involved in Cotter schools. He also see’s it as a great opportunity to enjoy the process of learning how to write and research better. When Ashur is not in school he can be found playing either baseball or hockey. He loves the sports he plays and being part of a team. Some of the things he does outside of school related activities includes fishing, hunting or spending time with his family. He has gone on trips to South Dakota and the Boundary Waters. He loves to explore the outdoors and has a great time doing it. Although he has not had much experience writing he will most likely enjoy writing about sports and athletics at Cotter. He has been inspired by many people but the most inspirational has been his former baseball coach Rick Boyer. His coach always pushed him to be the best version of himself and to work hard on and off the field.
