Three students from Cotter , Molly Corcoran Sanders, junior, David Moon, senior, and Patricia Ambros, senior, were selected to attend the WSU Honors Choir at Winona State University.

The event was held Friday,  December 6 and Saturday, December 7 on the main campus of WSU. This was the second year of the WSU Honors Choir Festival.  The WSU Honors Choir invites students that are a part of the Minnesota State high school honors choir join the WSU concert choir, and spend two days practicing, which culminates in the presentation of a concert.

Not only were these three present students in attendance, but two  Cotter alumni were also in the concert. Ben Mahlke, who graduated in 2010, and Ian Schultz, who graduated last year, were also in the choir.
