Blackfoot Gypsies rock MWMF
It’s only rock and roll but they like it.
The Blackfoot Gypsies, a four piece rock band from Nashville, performed at the tent stage at Mid West Music Fest on Friday, on Friday, April 28, as part of a line-up that also included Circle of Heat, General B and the Wiz, and the Big Wu.
The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Matthew Paige, drumer Zack Murpy, harmonica player Ollie Dogg, and bassist Dylan Whithlow. The band uses a mix of blues, rock and country to put on a high energy rock show that may remind some of early Rolling Stones, or maybe just something else. They made a whole bunch of new fans in Winona.
Cotter Teen Press caught up with the Gypsies on Saturday, April 29, backstage at the MWMF variety show, where Matthew was enjoying a Bloedow’s doughnut.
