Murder Can Be Hilarious….if it’s the Spring play

Mr. Roeckers along with his cast of the spring play presented “Murder Can Be Habit Forming” on March 31st and April 1st at the St. Cecilia Theatre.

The story took place at St. Mary’s Convent near Buffalo, New York. When a busload of tourists seek shelter in the convent, word of the infamous “Mary Murderer” keeps everyone on their toes.

The play was written with a lot of humor, with was executed very well by each member of the cast. Equally as important, Mr. Roeckers did a wonderful job of casting and really played to each individuals strengths.

Megan Zinke and the tag team of Annie Galke and Gina Pham, who performed the same part on different nights stood out with their humor.

Everything was worked out down to the smallest little detail. The set was expertly crafted and very functional. Costumes also helped to compliment each individuals character, especially that of Noah French’s, who played a member of a rock band.

The show ran about two hours but was fast paced and kept the crowd, which responded with laughter throughout, engaged through the entire show.
