Catholic School Week review

Monday was Chinese New Year Red day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is Ashley Sackreiter. She is now a student teaching in English 12 & English 9 and lives in dorm as a RM. She was wearing a Cheongsam ( 旗袍: a traditional body-hugging one-piece for woman). The color red represents luck and happiness in Chinese culture.

 

Tuesday was Pajama day

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ryan was wearing his favorite flamingos shorts for pajama day.

On pajama day, students wearing pajamas  pay one dollar to donate to the Catholic Charities organization.

 

Wednesday is wacky clothes day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was also the last day to write thank you notes to friends that were delivered during flex period later in the week.

 

Thursday is Bee-kind Day

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sam was wearing a University of Minnesota Nordic skiing uniform.

There was an all school assembly in the gym guest speaker Galit Breen spoke to the student body on cyber bullying and proper habits for using devices.

 

Friday is Dress Up day.

In the morning gathering, the Winterfest king, queen and class court winners are announced.

This is Noah Nachtigal and his second grade buddy.

All went to the Saint Stan’s Chapel to join the Catholic school mass and received the the blessing  of throats, as February 3 is St. Blaise day.
