Ramblers perform at MWMF Variety show
A new addition to the MidWest Music Fest line-up for 2016 was a variety show featuring local high school acts.
Three Cotter acts were included in the 90 minute set.
Ryan Ortega did a solo singing and playing keys, covering popular songs/
Beth and the Boys, a jazz quintet, featuring David, Jacob, and Noah French, Ryan Ortega, and Beth Parlin.
Mac Whaley, performing for the second straight year at the MWMF sounds like school stage,
While the variety show was going on at the tent stage, there was a musical instrument petting zoo in the Eagles club right behind the tent.
Sunah Shim and Yuri Ohguru helped youngsters try out a variety of musical instruments donated by Hardt’s Music. A similar event had been held at Live at the Levee last year.
Despite the cold and rainy weather on Saturday afternoon both events had a nice turnout.
