The winter season for the Winona boys’ swim team begins in December. Coach Chris Mayer will undertake his second season as head coach, his fourth in coaching.

With  14 new members this season, the team’s key to success  will be developing their young and new team.

This shouldn’t be an issue, however, with great returning swimmers Griffin Wonlner (grade 10), Tyler Suman (grade 12), Grant Wolner (grade 8), Corey Piper (grade 12), and Brady Kline (grade 10), all of whom have competed successfully at the section or state levels.

Taking the role of captains, are Tyler Suman and Corey Piper; both current seniors at Cotter.

One goal for the team is to finish in the top three at the sectional meet.
