The Tau of Dance
TAU CENTER– Friday night lights, followed by the Saturday night dance; homecoming week was completed in classic style.
This year’s homecoming dance was held Saturday, September 21, at the Winona State Tau Center for the third consecutive year. An estimated crowd of 110 people packed the octagonal room for three hours of fun. The event was hosted by Cotter’s student council. Krystijan VanderZanden, a junior member, said of the dance “it seemed like everyone was having a good time and enjoying the music.” The dance was DJ’d by Living Waters Entertainment for the first time, and “appeared to have the approval of the dancers,” said VanderZanden “We are really happy with this year’s homecoming, and now are shifting our focus onto the remainder of our semester.”
There were most certainly memories made and smiles shared at this year’s homecoming. “Homecoming is always one of those events people look forward to, and I believe we delivered a great experience.” said VanderZanden.
