The 2013 Cotter homecoming pepfest had a new time, but a familiar Cotter spirit. This pepfest was held on in the gym on Sunday night, instead of the traditional Friday event that took place during school hours. The new time gave more parents a chance to attend and it helped spark the energy of the upcoming weeks festivities. The band pumped out upbeat music and the new bleachers were buzzing with chatter from students, faculty and parents. Sister Judy was the emcee and the head coach of each of the fall sports teams spoke about their season and upcoming events These updates with interspersed with activities that students and coaches participated in to get the crowd pumped. When the sports activities were finished the highlight of the program was the crowning of the homecoming king Nikita Budkov and queen Sarah Walker.
