International Dinner continues to impress
In what has become one of Cotter’s most popular traditions, the second international dinner of the year was held at the dorm on Wednesday, March 4.
Students gather by nationality to plan and prepare appetizers and then a full dinner featuring cuisine from a variety of world cultures is served in the dining hall. This event corresponds with International Week activities and was well attended by faculty, staff, and local and boarding students. Here are a few shots of the party:
Students from Japan served pork barbecue in a spicy sauce.
Carlos Moreira, with help from Reikel, and Eric Cho, represented Spain and served potato and egg fritatas.
Students from Thailand, Ploy, P.J, with help from RAs Kim and Jeremy, served a dish featuring meatballs and cucumber.
A group of Chinese girls served spicy chicken appetizers.
This is one school tradition everyone hopes to continue, the next event is held next fall. Thanks to all who prepared and shared the food.
