Eight stupendous students got golden tickets inside their chocolate bars, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory styl, last Monday afternoon in the theater in recognition of winning Winterfest royalty titles.

Twenty-four students, three boys and three girls from each class, were selected for Winterfest court last Thursday.

Freshmen court included Connor Zukowski, Nathan Graff, Samuel Graff, Cindy Li, Adamary Rosas Garcia, and Makenna Kohner-Thesing.   Connor was crowned Lord, and Cindy was crowned Lady.

Sophomore court includes Nick Beranek, Bryant Gernes, Cade Espy, Anjuli Harris, Erin Getzin, and Charlotte Lao.  Nick was crowned Duke, and Erin was crowned Duchess.

Junior court is comprised of Sean Xue, Albert Oh, Sang Huk Lee, Brianna Beyerstadt, Kirsten Weifenbach, Amy Feng.  Sean and Amy were crowned Prince and Princess.

Ben Gabrych, Kyle Kerrigan, Eric Dong Song Cho, Kate Duellman, Bryanna Meier, and Qi Fan were selected for Senior court.  King Eric and Queen Bryanna received golden tickets.

Festivities Monday afternoon also included a prayer service and the award of the Joe Vogel Pay It Forward scholarship to sophomore Connor Hagarty.
