In a recently produced video, Fastenal founder Bob Kierlin (Cotter class of 1957), sat down with Bill Drazkowski, Executive Vice President of Sales at Fastenal and a Winona native, to discuss the principles of leadership he developed which led to the growth and success of the company and were first articulated in his 1997 book The Power of Fastenal People.  Though the video’s primary intended audience is Fastenal employees, the 10 principles and Bob’s thoughts on them hold value for leaders in all walks of life.
