Cotter Band is back live and in person

It’s been a long time coming, but the Cotter concert band held its first show with a live audience since the pandemic started on Monday, October 18, in the St. Cecilia theater.

The band is under the direction of Mr. Andy Meurer.

The high school jazz 1 performed first.  The sections and the soloists and the sections were announced from the stage.

It was followed by the concert band who performed 3 different songs called “Fire!” by Gary Gilroy, “Loch Lomond” by Frank Ticheli, and “The Witch and the Saint” by Steven Reineke. There are 13 different sections

Each person in the band was allowed  2 guests total. The audience was all required to wear masks.
