We asked 5 juniors and seniors at Cotter if they were taking the SAT and/or ACT test, and why.

Abby Allred (senior) : ” I didn’t care, I just knew that I had to take one so I took SAT.”

Tomas Castillo (international student, Senior) : ” I took ACT because some of the colleges I want to apply to require this specific test. I also think that it is better for me because there is the science section, I also studied for ACT English part.”

Mary Moore (junior) : “I will take SAT, I like the fact that you have more time per question on this test so I will not be under a lot of stress. I also like that I will just have to focus on English and Math.”

Spencer Briggs (junior): “I haven’t thought about taking the ACT or SAT tests yet.”

Hannah Casselman (junior): “I will probably take the ACT, because my dad said I should… Maybe I’ll also take the SAT, I’m not sure.”
