That’s the new Cotter girls 100 meter dash record.  It was set by junior Olivia Gardner in Elgin, Minn.  at a meet hosted by Plainview-Elgin-Millville on Thursday, May 14.

The previous record of 13.1 was set by Angel Knopick in the 2005 season.

“I didn’t think I had done that well, so I was really surprised when the announced the result.”

Gardner’s previous best time was 13.21  set during her freshman year.  Her best time this season was 13.26.
