“I’m feeling excited and wound up,” stated Killen, “Since this is my third time, I know the course pretty well.”  Killen’s goal is to score a spot in the top 50 out of the 175 runners.  Killen would also like to break the 17:00 barrier, his personal record is 17:01 at a fast Zumbrota course earlier this year.

The class A group in which Killen is racing, will be stepping off at 10 a.m.  Class A girls runn at 11:00, Class AA boys are at 1:00 and AA girls at 2:00

As a senior, this will be Killen’s last chance to perform at the high school level for cross country.  Killen hads this advice for  younger  Cotter athletes:  “Enjoy every chance you get to put on that uniform, because one day, it will all be over.”
