Lady Ramblers get their first shutout as they take on their homecoming game against the Saints.

The Ramblers took on the St. Charles Saints last Thursday night at 4:30 on the Cotter fields. Eight of the ten seniors were present for their last homecoming game, resulting in a victory 3-0.

Seniors include Rosie Flanagan, Maura Michener, Calli Marg, Alex Strelow, SongHee Hyoung, Bryanna Meier, Claire Brendel, Alissa Marek-Spartz, Julia Charron, and Mariya Swanson. Two key starters, Julia and Mariya, were missing in action- one out with an injured ankle.

“I’ve had a blast this season,” Charron said. “I’m extremely sad that it’ll be my last. I’m really going to miss being with my teammates next year.”

Captains Flanagan, Strelow, Brendel, and Michener are excited about their homecoming 2014 win; Goalie Strelow gladly welcomes her first shutout of the season.
