Mark Rivers,  Cotter senior, is pictured participating in the 10 Days of Giving and donating a large number of food items on Monday, December 10, the final day of the event.

The 10 Days of Giving is a program where groups around the city may donate food to help the needy, and at Cotter is competition to see which grade 9-12 can donate the most.

“I just want to help the children,” Rivers said.

Merchants Bank organizes the event to stock local food shelves in a long standing tradition.
