Cotter’s volleyball team is playing well, and the student section, or spirit squad, is providing much of the energy at the games.

The student section has a theme for every home game, and they love to cheer on their fellow classmates in different ways.

The Cotter student section is one of the loudest student sections around. They have different chants which really brings the crowd into the game.

“We make sure the other team knows whose house they’re in.” said Tyler Nachtigal, a junior who is one of the leaders of the section.

The photo is from the Chatfield match, which Cotter won in 3 straight games, and the theme was Betty Crocker.  Other themes have included Hawaiian night and white out.

The next home match is Tuesday, September 25, and the theme is pajama night.
