Benny Fung was cooking in the dorm’s kitchen.

Instead of the dorm’s dinner, he cooked a beef dumpling noodle dinner for his seniors’s friends. It was May 18 and his friends would be leaving in a week, when they graduate from Cotter.

Benny has spent a lot of time at school, the dorm and  sometimes traveling with Sam He, Huilin Mao, both seniors, and Emily. I asked Benny about his time with the seniors:

“Which is the best memory with Sam, Huilin, and Emily?”  “Hard to say………can I just say that every moment that we spent together?”.

However, I wanted to know some moments that stand out that he has spent with them so I asked him again. “What memories stand out the most with them, especially?“.

“Eh..biking? photo shooting, and eating”.

I seemed put Benny on the spot by asking this question. If someone ask me same question, I will get stuck.

Also, I asked him this question while he was cooking.

“Will you miss them?”.

Benny: “NoNoNo.ahaha”. (He gave an immediate response.)

“Why?! Won’t you miss them? Are you sure?”

“I will. I will, but right now, I don’t feel I will miss them. After they leave here, I’m gonna miss them from this August. maybe.”.

I thought he was being shy. And, I felt those answers that just hiding his embarrassment.
