Campus Ministry Class Volunteers with Catholic Daughters
On Wednesday, March 12, the campus ministry class headed to Cathedral church to help the Catholic Daughters serve a benefit lunch to local Winona residents.
This isn’t the first volunteer project the class has tackled together as a group. Each semester is unique, the spring semester 2014 visited St. Anne’s residents and plan to possibly visit with young children, among their many other Cotter based activities.
“It’s very nice to get some fresh legs in here helping us!” another volunteer exclaims. “You are welcome to help anytime.”
Each student rotated through different positions ranging from greeting to dishwashing to serving the food. They then got a meal of their own for their hard works.
“Overall, it was really fun and the time went so quickly” Tri says “and we got food.”
